I am finding it difficult to run the meta analyst program on laptop. It keeps telling me that i have a windows vista and may need to tun it as an administrator or click ok if i am already running it as an administrator. Surprisingly i do not get any response when i click ok. Would appreciate any help to resolve this issue. Copied below is the message that follows my futile attempts:

See the end of this message for details on invoking
just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box.

************** JIT Debugging **************
To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.

For example:

<configuration>
<system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
</configuration>

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
rather than be handled by this dialog box.

PostSubject: Had the same problem under Windows 7 64-bit   Start up Bug Icon_minitimeMon Apr 11, 2011 12:11 pm

Solved it by installing Windows XP Mode and Windows Virtual PC, then installing the software on the Virtual PC. Google for "Windows XP mode" to find the Microsoft downloads.
