data entry-continuous variables

I am new at using the Meta Analyst program. I have a study that has reported 'change' in the variable value following exercise intervention, all other studies have reported the value of the variable following intervention. Can I enter change or effectsize following intervention into the dataset to calculate Hedge's g?
