Error upon clicking OK on the splash dialog

Upon starting the program, a splash dialog pops up saying something about the contract numbers etc. I get the following error when I click OK (this is a german Windows 2000 with the newest NET 2.2 system):

Um das JIT-Debuggen (Just-In-Time) zu aktivieren, muss in der
Konfigurationsdatei der Anwendung oder des Computers
(machine.config) der jitDebugging-Wert im Abschnitt system.windows.forms festgelegt werden.
Die Anwendung muss mit aktiviertem Debuggen kompiliert werden.

Zum Beispiel:

Wenn das JIT-Debuggen aktiviert ist, werden alle nicht behandelten
Ausnahmen an den JIT-Debugger gesendet, der auf dem

Sorry you've encountered a problem. Thank you for sending the stack trace.

It looks like the problem is that your OS, being German , wants to use commas instead of decimals. It's having trouble parsing the conf file. Please go to the MetaAnalyst directory (e.g., C:\Program Files\MetaAnalyst) and open the file "ma.conf" in any text editor (e.g., notepad). Where it now reads:
"ci = .95" change it to:
"ci = ,95"
I think the program will run. Please let me know if this works. Thanks!

you were right in your assumption! After making the change you suggested, the error has gone away and I can see the main screen. Thank you very much!

PS. I guess you have to do something about the "locale problem" - but I am sure you will find a good solution!
